Mondays 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. 8-week session begins April 29, 2013
Moderated by Jack Fisher, M.Div.
The Dhammapada is a collection of the Buddha’s teachings packed with powerful lessons from one of the world’s most appealing and practical spiritual figures. Beginning with the first verse – “Our life is shaped by our mind: we become what we think” – the Buddha reveals what leads to joy and what to sorrow, and describes how to take control of our lives. Participants will read a section prior to meeting, engage in questions and discussion, and have the opportunity to learn from Jack Fisher, Delray Center’s own brilliant lecturer and spiritual historian.
