• Listening to Yoga Music Before Bed is Good for Your Health

     

    A new study examining the way music affects one’s heart found that yoga music has positive health benefits. Dr. Naresh Sen, who was looking to find whether music could play a factor in improving health, ran the study.

     

    The study found that yoga music had the more positive effects on participants in the study. Patients had a reduced heart rate, anxiety levels, and increase positive feelings.

     

    Doctors have long been using music therapy to help patients. There has been little scientific evidence that music helps with health, but this study shows otherwise.

     

    More studies will need to be taken to show the full range of benefits music, and particularly yoga music can help. However, these results are promising. Listening to soothing music before bedtime is a cheap and easy thing people can add to their routine to improve their physical and mental health.

     

    So if you can’t make it to a yoga class, just pop in some soothing music to receive benefits.
